Gillian KratzerGillian Kratzer is a resident of Altoona, Pennsylvania.  After becoming active in her county Democratic Party, she returned to finish her Bachelor’s degree at Penn State Altoona, receiving a BA in Political Science.  In 2014, she was elected to serve as Chair of the Blair County Democratic Committee.  After graduation, Gillian began work as the Victim Services Direct Services Supervisor at Family Services Incorporated.  She is trained as a Domestic Violence Victim Advocate and Sexual Assault Counselor and supervises a staff of eleven Victim Advocates who serve victims all over Blair County.  In addition to her supervisory capacity, she advocates for changes in the systems that affect victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence.  Gillian was a member of the inaugural cohort of Emerge PA and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Political Management through George Washington University.
