Eileen Albillar

Volunteer and Community Connections Manager, Bucks County Opportunity Council

Eileen Albillar, LSW is an alumna of Emerge Arizona, Class of 2007.  Eileen grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, then lived in Arizona for ten years following graduate school. It was in Arizona that she became active in local politics. She completed the Emerge course and went on to run a successful school board campaign for another Emerge Alumna, for the Tempe Union School Board. She has canvassed and hit the pavement for many women’s campaigns since, including several of her Emerge sisters.

Eileen returned to Pennsylvania in 2010 and immediately dove into the campaign to help State Representative Tina Davis get elected, and volunteered with the local democratic organization in Warminster for multiple campaigns. Eileen is a Licensed Social Worker, and currently works for a non-profit in Bucks County that addresses the root causes of poverty. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College, and her Master’s in Social work from Boston University School of Social work. She and her husband also own a small business, and she is mom to a 3 year-old and 8 month old. “I am so very excited that Emerge is here in Pennsylvania, and am thrilled to help recruit & train women to run for elected office!”
