Firm Administrator, Weber, Kracht & Chellew

Karen Chellew is a longtime resident of Bucks County who is an avid community service advocate. She is a full-time working mom of three, grandmother and wife. As Director of Administration of Weber, Kracht & Chellew, she brings 30 years of experience to the management team. She is responsible to manage the business side of the law firm as well as law office operations. She plans and controls the firm's finances, identifies the changing needs of the firm, plans marketing strategies and shares the information with the partners. She is responsible for human resources management, financial management, information systems, and facilities management.

As a result of her passion for community service, Karen founded Sisters U Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizationin 2011. Sisters U Foundation is a mentoring and education nonprofit dedicated to empowering women through sharing their stories, education and resources to be their best selves, while fostering community growth and assisting other local nonprofits. Karen is always looking for opportunities to connect women with opportunities that will enrich them both personally and professionally.

In 2014, Karen ran an effective campaign for State Representative in the 145th District. Karen’s campaign team was highly successful in fundraising and recruiting campaign volunteers (over 100) to identify the specific citizens they needed to reach, and then developed an efficient yet effective outreach plan to accomplish all objectives. With this plan in action, the campaign contacted over 10,000 potential voters by Election Day, and Karen received more votes than any democrat had ever received in the election’s history.

Additionally, Karen currently serves as President-Elect of the Independence Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.
